i'm married?

We have been officially, officially married for almost two weeks now...my plan was to start writing sooner but apparently I needed time to adjust to living with a man. haha!

I don't think anyone can prepare you for marriage. No one really knows what you're getting into when you tie the knot because everyone is different. One thing is true, almost two weeks in, I can say without a doubt that I am constantly reminded how selfish I am. Which I think is a good thing (I didn't realize it before?)...

So marriage is great. I love living with my best friend. We laugh and we are silly most of the time. He is the most patient, loving man I have ever met. Also we're crazy. Lucky me!

The toughest thing up to this point has been being away from my family. I'm only 8 hours away, but its more than I've ever been. I think I'm adjusting well. At the end of the day I know this is where the Lord has called me to be so that brings me comfort. 

Our house is coming together, and we got a Christmas tree thanks to Santa Densmore. I still have projects I want to do, which will be good for when Shane is busy at work and I'm at home all day. 

We are driving to Dallas this weekend, to get our new puppy! We've named her Bear. Pictures coming soon :) Not to mention, I get to see my girl Ashley and mi familia!
